Delete Your Account

This action is permanent. Once your account is deleted, your cloud data cannot be recovered. Please read the information below carefully before submitting your request.

A Burrow account is only needed for the optional cloud sync feature. If you have never signed in with Google or Apple in Burrow, there is no account to delete. All your data lives only on your device and is removed when you uninstall the app.

How to Delete Your Account

Option 1: In the app (immediate)

Open Burrow and go to Settings → Account, then tap Delete account. You will be asked to sign in once more to confirm. Your account and cloud data are deleted immediately.

Option 2: Using the form below

If you no longer have the app installed or cannot access it, fill out the form below. We will verify your identity and process your request within 7 business days.

What Data Gets Deleted

When your account is deleted, the following data is permanently removed from our servers:

Your Firebase Authentication profile and linked sign-in providers (Google, Apple)
All synced inventory data: items, batches, categories, storage locations, consumption history, and usage statistics
Item photos uploaded to cloud storage
Cloud storage usage records

What Data May Be Retained

Certain data may be retained for a limited period after deletion for the following legitimate reasons:

Transaction & purchase records: Records of in-app purchases and subscription history are retained as required by tax and financial regulations. These are managed by Apple App Store, Google Play Store, and RevenueCat, and are subject to their respective retention policies.
Anonymized analytics data: Aggregated, anonymous usage statistics collected via Firebase Analytics that cannot be linked back to your account are retained indefinitely to help improve the app.
Crash reports: Anonymous crash logs collected via Firebase Crashlytics are retained for up to 90 days to help diagnose and fix issues.

Important Notes Before Deleting

Local data is not affected. Your inventory stored on your device stays there as local-only data and stops syncing. To remove local data, uninstall the app.
Active subscriptions are not automatically cancelled. Deleting your account does not cancel your Premium subscription. Please cancel your subscription before requesting deletion:
- Manage Apple App Store subscriptions
- Manage Google Play subscriptions
