Burrow Terms of Use
Last updated: October 20, 2026
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Burrow mobile application (the "App"), provided by Appify ("we", "us", or "our"), located in Warsaw, Poland. By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years of age to use the App. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement and that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.
2. Description of the App
Burrow is an inventory management app that helps you track supplies, monitor expiration dates, manage stock levels, set reminders, and analyze consumption patterns. By default, all data is stored locally on your device and the App works without an account. Premium features, including optional cloud sync, are available through in-app purchase.
3. In-App Purchases
Burrow offers a Premium tier that unlocks unlimited items and batches and optional cloud sync. Purchases are processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. We do not have access to your payment details. Subscriptions renew and are cancelled through your App Store or Google Play account settings. Refund requests are handled by Apple or Google according to their respective refund policies.
4. Your Data
All data you create in Burrow (inventory items, categories, photos, etc.) is stored locally on your device. If you do not use cloud sync, your data is never sent to our servers, and uninstalling the App will permanently delete all locally stored data. If you use cloud sync, a copy of your data is also stored in the cloud as described in Section 5 and in our Privacy Policy.
5. Accounts & Cloud Sync
Cloud sync is optional. To use it, you must sign in with Google or Sign in with Apple, which creates a Burrow account. You are responsible for keeping access to your Google or Apple account secure, and for all activity under your Burrow account.
Synced data is stored using Google Firebase, a third-party cloud provider. By enabling sync, you acknowledge and agree that:
- Sync is not a guaranteed backup. Although we take reasonable care, sync may be delayed, interrupted, or fail, and data may be lost, corrupted, or overwritten, for example when the same item is edited on several devices, when a device is offline, or due to software errors or outages of our providers. You are responsible for keeping your own copies of any data that is important to you.
- Deletions sync too. Removing an item, category, location, or photo on one device removes it from the cloud and from your other synced devices.
- Storage limits apply. Each account can store up to 500 MB of photos in the cloud. We may change storage limits in the future; if we reduce them, we will give you reasonable advance notice.
- Sync requires an active Premium entitlement. If your Premium subscription ends, sync stops, but the data on your devices stays available locally. Data already in the cloud remains in your account until you delete it or delete your account. We may delete cloud data of accounts that have had no active Premium entitlement for more than 12 months, after notifying you in advance where we are able to.
- Availability. Sync depends on internet connectivity and on third-party services we do not control. We do not guarantee that sync will be available at all times.
You can delete your account and all cloud data at any time, as described in our Privacy Policy.
6. Your Content
You keep all rights to the content you add to Burrow, including item names, notes, and photos. If you use cloud sync, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store, copy, transmit, and process that content solely to provide the sync feature to you. This license ends when the content is deleted from the cloud.
You are responsible for the content you upload and confirm that you have the right to upload it. You must not use cloud sync to store illegal content, content that infringes the rights of others, or content unrelated to managing your inventory.
7. User Conduct
You agree not to:
- Use the App in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations
- Attempt to access other users' data, or to bypass storage limits, authentication, or other security measures
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the App
- Resell, redistribute, or sublicense access to the App or any of its features
8. Intellectual Property
The App, including its design, code, graphics, icons, and content, is owned by Appify and protected by copyright and intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms.
9. Third-Party Services
The App integrates with third-party services including Firebase, RevenueCat, Apple App Store, and Google Play Store. Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms of service and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or practices of third-party services.
10. Service Availability & Discontinuation
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or permanently discontinue the App or any part of its functionality at any time, with or without notice. We shall not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the App.
11. Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

12. Limitation of Liability

Our total liability for any claims arising under these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or 100 USD, whichever is greater.
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability for damage caused intentionally or through gross negligence, for death or personal injury, or any other liability that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law, including your statutory rights as a consumer.
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Appify from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in any way connected with your use of the App or your violation of these Terms or any applicable law.
14. Force Majeure
We shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations where such failure or delay results from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, acts of government, internet or infrastructure failures, cyberattacks, pandemics, or third-party service provider outages.
15. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, with or without cause and with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms. Upon termination, your license to use the App is immediately revoked, and we may disable your account and delete its cloud data. Data stored locally on your device is not affected.
You may stop using the App at any time. Even after you cease use, you remain responsible for any obligations incurred during your use.
16. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Poland. If you are a consumer residing in the European Union, you also benefit from any mandatory provisions of the consumer protection laws of your country of residence.
17. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
18. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
