Delete Your Clepsydris Account
Account & Data Deletion Request
This action is permanent. Once your account is deleted, your
data cannot be recovered. Please read the information below carefully before
submitting your request.
How to Delete Your Account
To request account deletion, fill out the form below. We will verify your identity and process your request within 7 business days.
What Data Gets Deleted
When your account is deleted, the following data is permanently removed from our servers:
- Your Firebase Authentication profile and linked sign-in providers (Google, Apple)
- Cloud-stored photos uploaded through the app
- Cloud backup files and sync data
What Data May Be Retained
Certain data may be retained for a limited period after deletion for the following legitimate reasons:
- Transaction & purchase records — Records of in-app purchases and subscription history are retained as required by tax and financial regulations. These are managed by Apple App Store, Google Play Store, and RevenueCat, and are subject to their respective retention policies.
- Anonymized analytics data — Aggregated, anonymous usage statistics collected via Firebase Analytics that cannot be linked back to your account are retained indefinitely to help improve the app.
- Crash reports — Anonymous crash logs collected via Firebase Crashlytics are retained for up to 90 days to help diagnose and fix issues.
Important Notes Before Deleting
- Local data is not affected. Data stored locally on your device (game sessions, photos, preferences) is not deleted when you delete your cloud account. To remove local data, uninstall the app.
- Active subscriptions are not automatically cancelled. Deleting your account does not cancel your subscription. Please cancel your subscription before requesting deletion:
- BoardGameGeek connection. Deleting your Clepsydris account does not affect your BoardGameGeek account. Any plays already logged to BGG will remain on their platform.
